7-11-05: This little darling at a baseball game between Council Grove and Herington didn't use the exact words, but the way she grabbed the chain-link fence and squealed at me was close enough. Posted by Picasa

7-7-05: She yelled at me in-between innings of her team's softball tournament game. Posted by Picasa
7-4-05: Taken while covering the Independence Day Celebration at the Council Grove Riverwalk. The gentleman in the picture yelled for me to get a picture of his girl here; but when I went along with it, he made his face take up more of the picture!  Posted by Picasa

The Setup

Often, while I am out on a job taking pictures professionally, someone, usually a young person, will yell out "Hey Mister! Take my picture!" and give me a big, goofy grin. This, I understand, is a common thing for a lot of photojournalists and other people who carry big cameras around.

I am a nice guy, so when this happens, I usually go ahead and grant them their wish. I point, I focus, I meter, and I release the shutter. When I get home, I put the pics aside for another use: This blog.

So if you want your face on here, simply make me hear:

"HEY MISTER! TAKE MY PICTURE!"
